The 1 Lakh Grant Program

We believe that relatively small amounts of funding—when placed in the right hands—can unlock meaningful change.


Our 1 Lakh Grant Program provides targeted grants of 100,000 Nepali Rupees (approximately $675 USD) to individuals and community leaders working to build something real in Bajura, Nepal.

What These Grants Support

Each grant is designed to help launch or strengthen a specific initiative, such as:

  • Tools for small businesses (coffee equipment, farm processing tools)
  • Educational opportunities (training, conferences, skill development)
  • Women-led initiatives (media, agriculture, entrepreneurship)
  • School-based programs (digital literacy, materials, student support)


These are not large international aid projects. 

They are practical investments that remove a key barrier and allow progress to happen.

Our First Grant

Our first 1 Lakh grant was awarded to Janesh Bhandari, supporting the development of a community training and wellness space at his Karnali Eco site.


This marks the beginning of a growing effort to support locally driven ideas with real potential.

Progress is underway to develop a new community and wellness space.

Grant recipients are expected to share simple updates, photos, or progress reports so supporters can see the impact.
